If you’re a business owner trying to build something real—and realizing no one is coming to set up your retirement for you—you’re in the right place.

I work with business owners and families to bring clarity to their financial lives. Where you are, where you want to go, and what it actually takes to get there. Then we build a plan that makes sense for real life—not just a spreadsheet.

My path into this work wasn’t traditional. My wife and I both run our own businesses, and early on, we learned the hard way what no one tells you—quarterly taxes, self-employment pitfalls, and the reality that when you own the business, you are the retirement plan. That experience shaped how I work with clients today.
Before financial services, I spent years in sales and insurance, eventually landing in high-risk auto coverage. Two moments pushed me to make a change. One was realizing how burned out I had become. The other was a call with a 72-year-old man who couldn’t afford a $1,200 car. It hit me that the issue wasn’t the car—it was a lack of planning. That conversation stuck with me, and I decided to build a career helping people avoid ending up in that position.

Early in my career, I made my share of mistakes. I moved too fast, learned on the job, and had to grow into the responsibility of guiding people through decisions that truly matter. What stayed constant was the commitment to get better and to earn the trust clients were placing in me.

About three years in, I had a client pass away, and her husband called me not knowing where anything was—accounts, policies, documents. We spent hours organizing everything and building a path forward. That experience defined what this work means to me. Most people don’t have someone in their corner when it matters most. I make sure my clients do.

Today, I primarily work with business owners between 30 and 60—often couples running a family business, balancing growth, taxes, and real life at the same time. I also work with individuals across all stages of life, from those just getting started to those navigating retirement.

My approach is simple:
Clarity first. Then strategy. Then long-term consistency.

I don’t believe in chasing trends or quick wins. The type of account your money sits in matters just as much as how much you save, especially when it comes to taxes in retirement. And just as important as any strategy is your relationship with money—because if that part isn’t addressed, even the best plan won’t stick.

On the technical side, I hold Series 6, 63, and 65 licenses, along with life, annuity, and property & casualty licenses. I’m also a Wealth Management Specialist and a Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor. My focus is long-term planning, not stock picking.

Outside of work, my wife Danelle and I live in North Glendale. We spend a lot of time in our garden figuring out how to grow things in the desert, and we’re heavily involved with Great Dane rescue. A typical weekend is time with family, meal prep, church, and getting outside when we can—usually camping up north or planning the next trip.

At the end of the day, what I want clients to walk away with is clarity—on where they stand, what they want, and how to get there. And just as importantly, a plan their family can actually understand and use if they ever need to.

If that sounds like what you’re looking for, let’s talk.
